Acrylic
22x28 in.

I've wanted to paint this picture for a very long time and finally completed it. I also wanted to challenge myself and see how well I faired with acrylic and realism. This is the third [?] time I've used acrylic.

And it's Trent Reznor from NIN

^^

[sorry for the edit, I thought I'd add a link to the original image >_<] [link]

sorry for edit again, thought I'd change it to the actual name of the piece...

sorry AGAIN for edit, went through some old photos and found a better one... or fixed the contrast better... whatever...

That's awesome dude. I'm loving everything about this picture. 'Specially the little face-looking thingy to the side. Adds something extra.

Looks fantastic, nicely done and a very cool pose to work with too :)

Mon Dieu, you're something amazing. Never forget that kid who you where friends with when you were 17-18

It is better to have loved and lost, than to have never lived at all
Isn't it amazing how much L'Amour sounds like La Morte.

Thank yooooooooouuuuuuu. And the white dude-ish looking thing [if you ask me it looks like a fetus] is actually a light thing if you look at the original picture. Unfortunately the white paint I had was really shitty and I didn't have a whole lot [stupid cut backs in art class ><] so I couldn't add all the other lights in the background. It would have made more sense, but meh. ^_^

Right next to me a huge reptile was gnawing on a woman's neck, the carpet was a blood-soaked sponge--impossible to walk on it, no footing at all. "Order some golf shoes," I whispered. "Otherwise, we'll never get out of this place alive."
:iconnekomis:
thank you soooo much! ^_^! I loved working with the extreme contrast in this picture as well as the pose. C:
